Private violin lessons-Students will receive detailed one-on-one training on how to play
the violin, read music, and learn to recognize sounds by ear. All levels of musical experience are
welcomed, and students are required to have their own instrument on which to practice.
Not only do we want to help increase a student’s technical abilities, but they
should also foster a love for music, both of which we will strive for during private lessons.
Group violin lessons-It is just as important to learn how to collaborate with other
musicians as it is to develop your own craft. Group lessons will consist of basic ensemble
playing, potentially with multiple string parts, and rehearsals will be geared towards
a performance for friends and family. Our goal in group lessons is to generate a sense of artistic
community as we make music together.

Music and Movement is a five week class geared towards three to six year olds. Each week, we’ll explore basic and intuitive ways to react to music through listening, dance, visual art, and creating our own music. Our goal is not for children to learn and maintain specific concepts, rather they begin to exercise their creative muscles without thinking too much about it. This class is all about learning by doing!
